Custom SCADA for combustion & genset fleets

We built our own monitoring and reporting platform because plant historians store one-minute averages — and combustion lives in seconds. One integration connects your gensets, compressors and unit controllers; every variable is logged, reported and exposed through a clean API.

What it does

Thermal Synergy SCADA is purpose-built for field power and combustion assets — wellhead generators, turbine packages, reciprocating engine drivers, compression stations and CHP units spread across a fleet. It sits alongside your existing plant SCADA; we don't rip and replace Ignition or PI. We aggregate the signals that matter for calibration and performance work into one dashboard, one report stream and one API.

Fleet monitoring

Live status across every connected genset — run hours, load, fuel quality indicators, alarm state and last-seen timestamp. See which machines are under-performing before the monthly fuel bill tells you.

Reporting

Scheduled and on-demand reports: efficiency trends, fuel consumption, derate events, trip logs, ambient-normalized performance and calibration before/after comparisons. Export to PDF or CSV for your team and auditors.

Full-variable capture

We report on all variables the controller exposes — not a curated subset. Exhaust and firing temperatures, fuel and air flows, λ or O₂, vibration, combustion dynamics, setpoints, limits and diagnostic codes. If the ECU logs it, we store it.

Integration

The one-time integration covers site survey, tag mapping, secure data path setup (OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, serial or controller-native export — see our Systems page for platforms), historian alignment where needed, dashboard configuration and commissioning validation. One integration scope applies per rollout — a single pad, a multi-pad battery or a fleet-wide deployment agreed up front. We quote integration fixed before work starts.

Integration is read-only by default. We connect through your OT network policies — VPN, site-escorted or offline export — and nothing phones home without your written agreement. See our security posture on the Systems & Integration page.

API access

Every subscription includes a REST API for programmatic access to live and historical data. Pull tag lists, current values, time-series windows and alarm events into your own analytics, ERP, maintenance systems or custom dashboards. Authenticated HTTPS endpoints; rate limits sized for operational use, not bulk data mining.

# Example — current values for a genset GET /api/v1/assets/{assetId}/tags/current Authorization: Bearer <your-token> # Example — 24-hour trend for exhaust temperature GET /api/v1/assets/{assetId}/tags/EXH_TEMP/history?from=2026-08-20T00:00:00Z&to=2026-08-21T00:00:00Z

Full API documentation is provided at integration handoff. Custom endpoints and webhook push (alarms, trip events, daily summary) available on request.

How it's priced

Two components, both scoped before you commit:

ComponentStructureIncludes
SCADA integrationOne-time, fixed feeTag mapping, secure connectivity, dashboard setup, commissioning, API credentials
Monitoring & reportingMonthly per gensetAll-variable logging, fleet dashboard, scheduled reports, API access, hosting & support
Calibration servicesScoped separatelyExploration and calibration programs per our engagement model — SCADA subscription is independent

Compression drivers and auxiliary units can be added under the same integration when they share the data path. Contact us with your fleet size and controllers — we'll send a fixed quote.

Why this pairs with calibration

Calibration without continuous data is a one-time event that decays. SCADA without calibration expertise is a dashboard nobody trusts. We built the software because we need trustworthy, high-rate combustion data to do our engineering — and our clients need the same visibility after we leave. Subscribe to monitoring alone, or fold it into a full calibration program; either way the data layer is the same.

Connect your fleet

Tell us how many gensets, what controllers and whether you want monitoring only or monitoring plus calibration. We'll scope the integration and send a fixed quote.
